Advanced Filter System (AFS) III The Advanced Filter System (AFS) III removes moisture to low-ppb levels, from inert gases and hydrogen. It contains a high-sensitivity moisture indicator. When the cartridge is depleted the moisture indicator changes from BLUE to BROWN.
The Advanced Filter System Complete Kit includes the AFS Cartridge, Manifold, and the wall and bench mounting brackets.
The filter has a very high capacity and can be expected to supply four GC’s for at least one year when used with 99.995% pure gas (provided reasonable care is taken during tank changes).
Construction of the filter is a stainless steel outer casing with a protective inner polycarbonate tube. the gas only contacts the inner glass tube containing the high capacity filter material.
