So far this year Greyhound has attended both ArabLab, an analytical trade show in the Middle East and the Dioxin conference in Maastricht. This blog will highlight the best moments of the events and the opportunities they provided for our company.
ArabLab - The world of Science and Chemicals
Greyhound has been exhibiting at ArabLab for over 15 years now, it is a prestigious international trade show that draws professionals and companies from across the globe. It serves as a hub for showcasing the latest in laboraotory equipment, analytical instruments, and science breakthroughs.
Representing Greyhound on our stand this year was Colin Lambert, our Operations Director and Victoria McOuat, our Sales and Business Develpoment Executive. We showcased our extensive range of quality chromatography products from the world's leading manufacturers and connected with laboratory professionals from around the world.
Also on our stand this year was Luke Housley from Appleton Woods to introduce the Appleton Scientific brand to the attendees of ArabLab. Showcasing Appleton's comprehensive range of laboratory equipment, consumables, and reagents.
ArabLab was an incredible experience for our team and provided us with great opportnities to connect and communicate with our customersas well as network with professionals in the industry.
Dioxin - 43rd International Symposium on Halogenated Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs)
The Dioxin Conference in Maastricht is an event focused on the science of persistent organic pollutants from a broad perspective . Our operations Director, Colin and Marketing Coordinator Alex, attended and joined the Wellington Laboratories stand to assist in showcasing their latest products and developments to the attendees.
On the Wellington stand the Greyhound Chromatography team communicated with customers and connected with potential new clients, we discussed the range of Wellington products we offer at Greyhound Chromtaography and provided assistance in selecting the correct reference standards for your required purpose. We handed out freebies to the attendees, including pens, catalogues, USB sticks, t-shirts and more.
Our team attended many networking events throughout the duration of Dioxin which allowed them to communicate with those within the industry and socialise with the Wellington team and the other distributors. Alex and Colin attended a welcome reception held in a national monument from the 17th century as well as a Gala Dinner located at the Château Neercanne - a unique castle with panoramic views across the Jeker Valley.
Both exhibitions were successful and encouraged some effective networking as well as providing our team with great opportunities to connect with customers, students, and science professionals from all over the world.
Greyhound next looks forward to attending Lab Innovations in November with Appleton Woods to finish off the year!
