Particularly useful when handling small liquid samples containing low-boiling components, usually lost through evaporation using ordinary syringes.
In addition to sample storage capability, the push-button valve allows for pre-pressurization of samples prior to injection. By pre-pressurizing the sample gas to match or exceed the pressure in the chromatograph, the sample can be flushed instantaneously into the column as a ‘slug’. The result is better resolution.
Always leak-tight!
The A-2 uses a special needle and needle connector designed specifically for chromatography and other analytical sampling. Significantly lower dead volume than conventional style Luer connectors.
