New Wellington Products
Multiple U.S. EPA methods commonly used for the analysis of PFAS recommend quantative standards containing mixtures of branched and linear isomers due to observed differences in ion response. To aid in the analysis of these compounds, Wellington has updated their current selection of mixed PFAS referenece standards to include EPA-533APDS, EPA-537APDS, and EPA-8327STK. These solutions/mixtures contain previously unavailable quantitative isomeric mixtures of PFOA and PFNA, as well as FOSA for EPA-8327STK, but are otherwise identical to our existing EPA-533PAR, EPA-537PDS-R1, and PFAC-24PAR products, respectively.
Native PFAS Solution / Mixtures for U.S. EPA Method
In July 2023, the U.S. EPA released the fourth draft of Method 1633, a highly anticipated method that allows for quantification of up to 40 per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in various matrices. To fully support their customers' needs, Wellington has released a new native PFAS solution/mixture, EPA-1633STK, which contains quantitative isomeric mixtures of PFAS that were previously not commerically available. EPA - 1633STK can be diluted and/or combined with their existing MPFAC-HIF-ES and MPFAC-HIF-IS producrs to achieve the spiking and calibration solutions recommended by the method.
